Christy, 2001-07-22 21:36:14 I was wondering if anyone can translate this sentence: "Eur garantez krenv zo pinvidikez gwella." I found out that "eur" and "zo" are Breton and "gwella" is Welsh, but I am unable to identify the other words. Re: need translation Frañsoaz Lermen, 2001-07-23 00:00:17 "Eur garantez krenv zo pinvidikez gwella." A strong love is the best wealth eur (or ur) = a karantez (garantez after the article) = love kreñv = strong zo = is pinvidigezh = wealth gwella (or gwellañ) is not only Welsch. It's Breton too and means "best". A galon FL Re: need translation Christy, 2001-07-23 03:29:17 Thanks for your reply. I bought a silver broach at a flea market and those words were on the front of it and on the back is written "un amour solide est la meilleure des richesses" and I suspected that it was a translation from the front, but I wasn't sure if all the words on the front were Breton or not. Thanks again |
