Your best bet then is probably to buy a dictionary. Ar Bed Keltiek in Brest/Quimper sells through their Internet web site and they have a variety of dictionaries for sale. I've bought from them frequently. They have a Breton-English/English-Breton dictionary for sale for 12.04 Euros for example. http://www.arbedkeltiek.com/saozneg/books/bilingual_dictionary.htm This dictionary also exists in a German-Breton edition as well, and, of course, in a French-Breton version. I don't seem to see the German version on-line but I remember seeing it in bookstores in Brittany. chañs vat, David Re: dictionnary jean-louis, 2002-09-16 16:00:51 I don't know a way to download a breton dictionary from the net. A galon Jean-Louis Re: dictionnary Gwenael, 2002-10-08 23:10:25 May be at http://www.freelang.org. A galon. Gwenael Re: dictionnary yann, 2002-10-09 18:23:14 You can also get the CD-ROM version of Francis Favereau's Breton-French dictionnary. It has a jazzy interface and a sound extracts for each term in the dictionnary plus a few sentences, which is a big plus. Not too expensive either. You should be able to order it on line from Ar Bed Keltiek. Chans vat dit Yann |
